Diagnosed at 4 months

Hi, my 4 month old daughter has been diagnosed with mild DDH. I am going through all the horrible emotions listed by other parents. I am so worried that this was picked up too late. I picked up the difference in leg size and usage. After the diagnisis by ultrasound and xray we have been referred to an Orthopedic surgeon. But we have a long 2 week wait before our appointment. I am so worried we will be too late for the harness to work. Has anyone else been diagnosed at this age? Willow will be 4 months and 3 weeks by the time we see the surgeon!
Any information would be appreciated.

I know that this post was a couple of months ago, but my daughter was also diagnosed and she went through all the braces and traction and then casting for four LONG months. So if you have any question feel free to email me at rosa-dj@hotmail.com
